Luxury travel brand Orient Express unveils new details about their sailing yacht, Orient Express Corinthian , slated to hit the seas in the summer of 2026. Under the aegis of Accor, the Orient Express brand is turning heads with a whole coterie of new luxury trains and hotels; however, one of the most exciting and in-demand products is sure to be the new sailing yacht, the Orient Express Corinthian . Slated to set sail in 2026, the new vessel will be the world’s largest sailing yacht at 220 meters (nearly 723 feet) and will cruise the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Caribbean.
Designed by one of the world's largest shipyards, the Nantes-based Chantiers de l’Atlantique, the new ship will have three inclinable masts to reach sailing speeds up to 17 knots by wind alone. As with the other Orient Express products, the Orient Express Corinthian will embody the golden age of travel with silver and gold interior accents, and plenty of rich leather; and opulent red-veined marble. The overall color scheme features dark browns, rich oranges and lavish cream whites.
Design details include Greek key patterns, nautical references, and mid-century-meets-art-deco flourishes. There will be 54 total cabins, with 48 suites (stationed on Deck 4, Deck 5 and Deck 6) and 6 premium class suites on Deck 7. All have wide, panoramic windows to enjoy the ocean views.
The good looks come care of Artistic Director of Orient Express, Paris-based architect Maxime d’Angeac, who also designed the Guerlain b.
