90'S ACTRESS Kimberly Williams-Paisley underwent major surgery after suffering a "scary" incident a few years back. The Father of the Bride actress received an outpour of support from fans as they praised Kimberly for being "so brave." Kimberly Williams-Paisley took to Instagram yesterday to share that she had major surgery after suffering an incident two years ago.

The 90s actress started her post by saying she's "been going through a thing. "Almost two years ago I lost my voice on stage at my Alzheimer’s event in Nashville. "It was embarrassing & scary & it never quite came back," she continued.

After being diagnosed, Kimberly shared that she's received surgery from Vanderbilt Health in Tennessee. She revealed she was awake for "the three hour laryngoplasty to plump up my paralyzed vocal cord so it hits the other one.

"I watched a lot of it on a video screen above my head as it happened and all I can say is MODERN MEDICINE IS MIRACULOUS."
