Two great music dynasties have come together in the marriage of Tyrone Wood and Faye Harris – otherwise known as the son of Ronnie Wood and daughter to Steve Harris. Rolling Stones star Ronnie, 77, celebrated as his son tied the knot with the daughter of Iron Maiden frontman Steve Harris, 68. Tyrone and Faye were married in an intimate ceremony at a remote country estate in County Kildare, Ireland.

The pair were surrounded by friends and family – a surprisingly sedate ceremony, given their parents’ reputation and output as hard rockers. Guests gathered included Tyrone’s brother and Ronnie’s other son, Jesse Wood , 47, and his TV presenter wife Fearne Cotton , 42. Pictures from the event show both families beaming in colourful attire as they surround the happy bride and groom, bolstered by rock royalty on both sides.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine , Ronnie said: ‘It was a fabulous day – fantastic and lovely. It was the melding of two families and the joining together of two music dynasties. He added: ‘There was a genuine bond with so many nice people.

’ Meanwhile, the father of the bride, Iron Maiden bassist Steve said: ‘The celebrations were fantastic,” he says. “It was these musical dynasties coming together, but it felt like a very down-to-earth ceremony, and there are strong bonds here. ‘They are a lovely family.
