In the age of digital devices, book lovers young and old might be pining for the tactile experience of turning a page. Kids looking for an old-school storytelling experience can head to a pop-up at Airside in Kai Tak, while bookworms of all ages can check out the funky new Bookazine Social in Tai Kwun. Kids looking for something fun and educational can head to a storytelling pop-up at Airside in Kai Tak being held this month. Organised in conjunction with the OnePile Foundation, a non-profit organisation that believes in the power of books, the Sustainable Reading Corner (near Shop 420, 4/F) features a reading area, a bookstore section for parent-child bonding, and a series of workshops such as the supercool urban farming one where children can learn about growing seasonal crops. Airside, 2 Concorde Rd, Kai Tak, Kowloon Adult bookworms do not despair – we have not forgotten about you.

You can get your book fix at Bookazine Social in Central’s Tai Kwun. Set in a cosy environment, this hip new hotspot features a selection of books and products. Bookazine Social is more than a bookstore – it is a community hub for people to come together through book clubs, events and workshops.
