Cruise ship MV Seabourn Pursuit sailed into Guam on Saturday night with 416 passengers and crew members, and will leave at 11:45 p.m. Sunday.
The Port Authority of Guam, in a statement, said MV Seabourn Pursuit's visit marks a record-breaking ninth passenger vessel of the year, a significant achievement for the island’s only commercial seaport, as well as Guam’s tourism industry. m. Saturday with 183 passengers and 233 crew members. MV Seabourn Pursuit's arrival not only boosts Guam's reputation as a premier luxury cruise destination, but also sets a new record for the most passenger vessels to visit the island in one year, the Port said.
This highlights the growing appeal of Guam as a must-see cruise destination for travelers seeking unique experiences in the Pacific with more than 17,000 passengers and crew members welcomed so far this year. "This significant achievement highlights the increasing recognition of Guam as a top-tier premier luxury cruise destination,” Port General Manager Rory J. Respicio said in a statement.
