If there's an occasion to dress your very best, it surely has to be . The annual celebration got underway on Friday afternoon, and as we entered day two, the fashion fits only stepped up. While the start of the day brought a smattering of showers during the parade, as the day progressed, the sun made an appearance again, spotlighting some of the best fashion fits in all their glory.

Soon enough colourful rain jackets and rainbow umbrellas gave way to hot pink ensembles, kilts and many bejewelled outfits as Pride festival-goers headed into the Gay Village to soak up the fabulous and fun vibes of the annual, four day LGBTQ+ celebration. The fashion at always delivers, and Mancunians across the city have been pulling out all the stops to create bold, beautiful and tongue-in-cheek statements. On Saturday we’ve seen a number of cowboy-inspired fits incorporating boots, short shorts and straps, and for those of us observing Brat Summer (Google Charli XCX and you'll soon get it) there were plenty of lime green takes on the album of the season - if not the year.
