” Writer Shin Ha Eun briefly discussed her inspiration for the drama’s plot. She explained, “I wanted to tell a story about youth. I recalled Samuel Ullman’s poem, ‘Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind,’ and expanded it into a story about youth regardless of age.
This is a story about the most ordinary yet special people in the world as they love passionately, fight bitterly, and reconcile subtly.” She continued, “The story centers around Seung Hyo and Seok Ryu, who have known each other since childhood.
