Throughout his career, he delivered several hit films and was known for his acting skills that melted people’s hearts. However, did you know that Shammi Kapoor’s film Rajkumar was made three times, each featuring a different hero? Yes, you read that right! The first version was made in 1964 and starred Shammi Kapoor, Sadhana Shivdasani, and Prithviraj Kapoor in lead roles.

The second film, also titled Rajkumar, was released in 1996 and featured Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and Naseeruddin Shah. Later, another film with the same name was released in 2013, starring Shahid Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, and Prabhu Deva. Coincidentally, all three films (Rajkumar) featured Kapoor in the lead roles.

Shammi Kapoor’s Rajkumar was directed by K. Shankar who paired him with Sadhana. The 1964 film was one of the highest-grossing movies of the year and also included legendary actors like Prithviraj Kapoor, Pran, Om Prakash, and Rajendranath.
