BMW has launched the 2025 M5 in India. The seventh-generation German sports sedan costs Rs 1.9 Crore (ex-showroom).
This is the first time that the M5 features an electrified powertrain. But the changes aren't limited to what's under the bonnet. The new M5 features an all-new design.
At the front, it has BMW twin headlights and the iconic kidney grille. The headlights are adaptive LEDs, and there is an M5 badge on the grille. Also Read: 2025 Honda Amaze: Everything Confirmed So Far The new M5's side profile also has a new look.
BMW says all body panels, including the front and rear wheel arches, have been redesigned. The new M5 comes with a carbon fibre roof, which reduces the weight by 30 kg compared to the model that features a panoramic sunroof. The carbon roof helps lower the car's centre of gravity.
Other highlights of the new M5 include an M rear spoiler, twin exhaust pipes, and 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels. On the inside, the 2025 M5 features distinctive touches. There is a new three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with a red centre marker.
It features red M1 and M2 buttons for quick access to custom set-ups. If you pick the M Drive Professional package, the left gear shifter will be marked as "Boost." Luxury features on the new M5 include ambient lighting, multifunctional seats with an illuminated M5 logo, and a Bowers and Wilkins 18-speaker sound system.
