'When you hear all [the nominees], you definitely don't expect yours to be the one called out,' she began. 'Everything we do is with heart and soul. If a story doesn't have heart and soul, we just don't do it,' she continued.
'I look at those who've sat in this chair before me, right back to my father-in-law [Michael Willesee] who started this show. 'It would be wonderful if he could have seen the family connection and where that played out.
