Programme Excites Jigawa’s First Lady, Urges Continuation ...

Programme Fostering Muslim Unity, Brotherhood – Dr. Awa Ibraheem Prominent Muslim personal­ities from Nigeria were part of the beneficiaries of the 2024 Hajj Guests Programme of Saudi Ara­bia’s King Salman Bn AbdulAziz, joining over 3,000 others from across the world to perform the just concluded Islamic rite. Among the Nigerian royal guests were the wife of Jigawa State Governor, Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi and a renowned accountant and businessman, Dr.

Awa Ibraheem, who is equally the Pro-Chancellor, Fountain Univer­sity, Osun State; and the Publisher of Muslim News, Rasheed Abuba­kar. The trio commended the Saudi monarch for the initiative which they said is a platform for foster­ing unity and brotherhood among Muslims globally. In her remarks, the wife of Jigawa State Governor expressed excitement as a beneficiary of the programme from Nigeria. She lauded the luxury accommodation, transportation and other services funded by the Saudi government. She urged King Salman to main­tain the brilliant, appealing for an increase in the number of benefi­ciaries from Nigeria.
