The BMW 5 Series is one of the most critical models for the German luxury carmaker. Globally, it has been the market leader in the prestigious executive sedan segment for years.
Around 10 million units of the car have been sold since the first generation was launched in 1972. Introduced as a Long Wheelbase version for the first time in India, the BMW 5 Series is 5,165mm long, 2,156mm wide and 1,518mm tall with a 3,105mm wheelbase, making it the biggest car in the segment. The BMW 5 Series will take on the popular Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
