The joy of being a horror fan is that there's always more great horror movies coming out than you're probably ever going to have time to watch - an embarrassment of gory riches, you could say. Though filmmakers are currently hard at work on their projects due to release next year, most of which have presumably already been filmed, it's never too early to look a little further ahead and see what the genre's best and brightest are cooking up for the year after. 2026 will be here before we know it, and though the year's horror slate is still being hammered out, from the projects confirmed to drop already and those targeting 2026, it looks like it might well be a banner year for the genre.
