The annual Parade of Homes tour will take place in Lake and Porter counties from 12-5 p.m. Sept.

21, 22, 28 and 29. People can check out 20 model homes at different price points in Cedar Lake, Crown Point, St. John, Hebron, Lowell, Merrillville, Valparaiso, Portage and Chesterton.

“We have homes from builders in all price ranges” said Josh Blackburn, the Parade of Homes chairperson and a local homebuilder. “Homes in the parade this year start in the mid $300,000s and we even have luxury homes over $1.2 million.

There will be copies of a magazine with floorplans and more information about the homes and builders. The Homebuilders Association of Northwest Indiana organizes the annual Parade of Homes, an early-fall showcase for new model homes and newly constructed homes that are opened up for public tours.
