Pune: Two road accidents claimed the lives of a motorcyclist (45) and a woman (44) pedestrian in Mahalunge MIDC and Kasarwadi areas of Pimpri Chinchwad on Sunday. An officer from the Mahalunge MIDC police said that on Sunday morning, Ratan Yadav (45) of Chikhali was driving his motorcycle towards HP Chowk when a water tanker hit the vehicle. “After the dash, Yadav fell off the motorcycle and came under the wheels of the tanker,” he said.
In another accident, Munni Begum Shaikh (44) of Kasarwadi tragically died after she was hit by a motorcycle.
