Around 1.21 crore passengers had used our services in 2023," Satish Gate, public relations officer with PMPML, said. The transport body ran 17,093 buses against 16,635 buses in 2023.

"When it comes to revenue, we earned around Rs.17.43 crore in 10 days while it was Rs.

16.92 crore last year. The festival, this time, was grander and hence we ran more buses and ensured that vehicles were operational for the whole night," the official said.
