After over 12 years since we said goodbye to Bree, Gabby, Lynette, and Susan, rumours have begun circulating that the suburban housewives could be back on Irish screens sooner rather than later. Starting in 2004, Desperate Housewives delved into the everyday lives of the ordinary or not-so-ordinary women who call the picture-perfect Wisteria Lane home. Both gaining and losing core characters over the years, the cast of the phenomenon set in the fictional Eagle State has remained relatively the same since its pilot episode in October 2004.

While some of the main cast members are still active in the spotlight today, others have steered clear of the public eye, choosing to live a life of comfort and luxury. Let’s see where some of the show’s most memorable characters have found themselves in recent years. Bree Van de Kamp quickly became an obsession for millions of Desperate Housewives fans across the world with her uptight nature, iconic one-liners, and Martha Stewart-like homemaking.

However, outside of the DHS universe, Marcia Cross is quite the opposite. She is a laid-back and loving mother to her twin daughters, Savannah and Eden, whom she shares with Stockbroker husband Tom Maloney. The 66-year-old married Maloney following the death of her long-time partner and Actor, Richard Jordon, following a brain tumour diagnosis.

The Massachusetts native and her family currently live in the United States , but it is not known exactly where. Cross was nominated for several awards.
