Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is getting close to Telugu audiences these days. Close on the heels of impressing as fearless Ashwadhama in "Kalki 2898 AD', the 'Deewar' actor would return to the Telugu audience with his next film 'Vettiyan' set to release in two Telugu states in October. "He will be showcasing his acting prowess once to Telugu audiences and frankly his immense talent is getting noticed by the new generation Telugu audience," says a director.
After playing a mythological character, the legendary actor is going to enthrall Telugu viewers with a realistic role in his upcoming film ‘Vettaiyan’ featuring Rajinikanth. “Amitabh carried 'Kalki' on his broad shoulders and breathed life into the role of Aswadhama who is fearless and invincible,’ adds the director. “Amitabh had the stature and immense talent but still delivered a subtle yet impactful performance and even robbed the limelight under Prabhas which was quite a challenge for any actor and did it very well,” he adds.
On his joining hands with Rajnikanth, he says “They are reuniting after three decades and their combination will be another USP of this action film we have to see what Amitabh’s role would be and it would be significant enough, but he is going to enthrall Telugu viewers once again in October to shore up his following among Telugus,” he points out. Thanks to Nag Ashwin, Amitabh Bachchan regained his angry young man or old man image which was known for in the '70s and 80’s wi.
