Microsoft experienced a global outage on July 19 that disrupted operations across various sectors including airlines, banks, and news channels. Although the issue has since been resolved, an old interview of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs criticising Microsoft has resurfaced and gone viral. In the resurfaced interview, Steve Jobs is heard saying that Microsoft "absolutely has no taste.

” He elaborates by stating, "Microsoft doesn't think of original ideas and fails to incorporate culture into its products. Proportionally-spaced fonts come from typesetting and beautiful books, which is where the idea originates. "Without the Mac, they would never have included that in their products.

" I'm not upset by Microsoft's success—they've earned it for the most part—but I'm disheartened by the fact that they produce subpar products." Here's the video shared by an X (formerly Twitter) user: The global outage on July 19 affected a wide range of organisations, halting their operations worldwide. The issue was linked to CrowdStrike, a leading US cybersecurity company valued at over $83 billion with more than 20,000 subscribers globally.

According to an alert from CrowdStrike, its "Falcon Sensor" software caused Microsoft Windows to fail and display the infamous blue screen, known as the "Blue Screen of Death." CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz commented on the situation, saying, "We quickly identified and resolved the issue. As systems come back online and are rebooted, they are operational again.

" He added, "Many customers are rebooting their systems, and they're becoming operational. Some systems that aren't recovering are being worked on, and it could take some time for full recovery." | Elon Musk's shares AI fashion show video featuring PM Modi, Trump, Obama, and other leaders on the runway, and pokes fun at Microsoft outage.
