With its take on clothing, fluid designs, and a warm and inviting store, Ami is set to dress many Filipinos with fashions that blur the line between casual and chic. In the first episode of the fourth season of “Emily In Paris,” we are not only taken back to the beauty of the City of Lights but how friendship can be a source of great happiness and, unfortunately, heartbreak. The show put the cherry on top of that topic through the appearance of French fashion brand Ami.

Through its fictional “Love is in the Air” in the episode, we not only saw the joy that comes from having a dependable partner but also how real clothes can be a friend. Lucky for us, the brand has opened its first store in Manila, bringing its line of friendly Parisian fashions closer to Filipinos. Located in the Rockwell Center in Makati City, the 74-square-meter boutique presents a revamped store concept and resonates with the DNA of the Ami—fresh, timeless, genuine, and depicts the Parisian spirit.

Its natural oak wood, golden and champaign brass, glass facade, and beige limewash paint on the walls offer the perfect backdrop for the brand’s latest pieces. The central accessories display is composed of a half-moon-shaped sofa and Ami’s iconic black and white stripes. The parquet is made of a tone-on-tone striped natural wood in a sunray shape.

On display are menswear, womenswear, and accessories from its fall-winter 2024 collection. Hard to miss are the brand’s signature shirts, knitwear, and other tailored pieces marked with its iconic Ami de Coeur. With its gentle take on clothing, fluid designs, and a warm and inviting store, Ami is set to dress many Filipinos with fashions that blur the line between casual and chic.
