Content creator Tara Lappan, under the username @texaninaustralia , took to the social media platform to confess she had spent four years mishearing a common term of endearment. Lappan, who has lived in Australia for four years, revealed that she had mistakenly thought Aussies were calling her 'doll' when they were actually calling her 'darl,' short for darling.
