AMERICAN Pickers star Mike Wolfe's recent find has fans scratching their heads after guests turned down a whopping $75,000 offer. Clips from the episode were shared on the American Pickers ' Facebook page, showing Mike , 60, and his costar, Jon "Jersey Jon" Szalay , 60, negotiating a deal for a rare Mustang. In one, the duo are pumped as they head to an Alabama barn where the owner of a 1967 Shelby Mustang stored the vehicle.

Their excitement only increased when they arrived to see the vintage car, which Mike gushed was nearly "impossible to find," given only 2,000 of them had been made. The guests revealed they paid $3,700 for the car in 1983, though they hoped to sell it for a much higher price. After further inspecting the vehicle and consulting with a vintage car expert, Mike and Jon discovered that restoring it would cost more than $100,000, which lessened the car's value.
