An American actress is being accused of racism towards BLACKPINK ‘s Jennie after a recent interaction. On October 1, Jennie attended the CHANEL show for Paris Fashion Week and shocked netizens by debuting blonde hair. Another guest at the show was actress Margaret Qualley , and at one point, when she met Jennie, the actress touched her wig and asked if it was real.

[Video could not be displayed] When the video was posted, netizens immediately found the comment towards Jennie racist, alluding to the fact that because it was blonde and Jennie is Asian, the American actress felt the need to touch it and ask if it was real, rather than just complimenting Jennie.
