Amazon shoppers can get more than £22 off Mugler's 'exquisite' fragrance and it's refillable. Alien would typically cost £95 for a 60ml bottle but has dropped down to £72.20.
Alien was launched in 2005 and has since remained massively popular. Alien was created by Dominique Ropion (who has worked on hundreds of perfumes including Calvin Klein Euphoria , Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb , and Lancôme La Vie Est Belle ) and the late Laurent Bruyere (who was behind Mugler's Innocent and Lacoste Fragrances' Essential ). Most perfumes have a few notes in the top, heart and base but Alien is made with just one note in each section.
It opens up with Jasmine Sambac, has a heart of Cashmeran and its base is Amber. One shopper said: "The best perfume in my opinion as it's very strong and noticeable. Amazon delivered this package prompt promptly and gave me a code to be used for it so didn't get stolen." A second wrote: "I’ve been using Alien Fragrance for years, I get really nice compliments when people smell it.
" A third added: "Exquisite. Long-lasting smell, you don't need many squirts for it to last the whole day, Beautiful smell. smells expensive if there is such a smell.
" A fourth added: "My favourite perfume worn it for five years at least and I get lots of compliments that I smell lovely." Not everyone is so thrilled though, some shoppers have complained that it doesn't have its usual longevity. One wrote: "Either Mugler has changed it or there's a problem as it has barely any scent - might as well spray water.
I won't be buying it online again. Sadly I had opened before I knew it was scentless and packaging had been thrown away - really disappointed, it was my fave perfume and wasn't cheap." Alien is also on offer at Boots where it is £80.
