The 53 year old Britain's Got Talent judge took to her social media while vacationing in Greece to praise her 18 year old daughter on her A-Level results day. Amanda uploaded a lovely black and white picture of Lexi, who looked elated holding a celebration cake.

Students across the UK received their crucial A-Level results, critical for university placements and an elated Amanda shared that she felt a wave of relief after Lexi's successful grades. Overjoyed by Lexi securing her first choice university, Amanda said: "Congratulations to our Lexi, we couldn't be prouder", reports the Mirror . " Lexi celebrated her achievement with a bubbly toast at Toula's Seaside, as she was also presented with a cake which exclaimed: "OMG I did it!" Amanda wowed in a silky yellow dress accessorised with statement gold necklaces, chic sunglasses, and a stylish cream clutch during the celebration dinner. She also expressed her heartfelt thanks for the unexpected cake addition: "A fantastic evening celebrating our girl Lexi. Thanks for our surprise cake.

" The family have been soaking up the sun on the idyllic island of Corfu over their summer holiday, with Amanda sharing some incredible bikini snaps. She also shared a loved-up snap with her husband Chris, joking about his rare appearance on her Instagram. She captioned a snap of them cosying up together with: "Last day.

he finally made it onto the grid #reluctantly ." It comes after Lexi faced a health scare when she was hospitalised with E. coli during her A-levels.

The frightening ordeal saw the teen spend five days in a hospital ward, with her worried parents at her side. Amanda chose to share Lexi's experience publicly to raise awareness about the symptoms and dangers of E. coli.

Amanda revealed: "For about three weeks, Lexi had been complaining of bloating and stomach cramps, she was not happy at all and in quite a lot of pain with her tummy." Initially attributing it to exam stress, Amanda and Chris eventually sought medical advice. After tests, their GP confirmed Lexi was battling a bacterial infection.

While the TV and radio star was away in Spain for work, she received urgent calls from officials to complete forms tracing Lexi's food history, which led to the discovery that Lexi had contracted VTEC E. Coli, a particularly virulent strain uncommon in humans..
