Amanda Abbington’ s fiancé Jonathan Goodwin took to social media to address the Strictly Come Dancing probe. This comes after a six-month investigation put forward by the 2023 contestant after she issued “bullying” complaints against her professional partner, Giovanni Pernice . Although the pro is no longer associated with the show, he has since joined the cast of the Italian version of the competition , Ballando Con Le Stelle.
Out of the 17 allegations, the BBC upheld six and issued an apology to the Sherlock actress, after their report found that Giovanni’s use of swear words “belittling.” The BBC also agreed with Amanda that at times he appeared to be giving her overly negative feedback. Taking to Instagram , with a photo of himself and Amanda, alongside Princess Anne , Jonathan shared a heart-warming tribute to his fiancé.
