The star, 50, joined Christine Lampard to discuss the latest developments, following her allegations against her former dance partner Giovanni Pernice , whom she accused of "bullying" and "abusive" behaviour during their training sessions. Following her public accusations, Giovanni has since left the show, prompting the BBC to initiate an investigation into his behaviour. Following this, a slew of additional troubling claims have been brought to the broadcaster's attention, with numerous individuals now stepping forward to recount their distressing experiences.



During her chat with Christine on the popular morning show, Amanda was asked about her aspirations for the future of Strictly. Christine inquired: "What do you think should happen for Strictly next? Responding to this, Amanda expressed her affection for the show, saying: "I love Strictly. I think this is just an anomaly, I always wanted to do that show. I think it's a beautiful British institution and everybody loves it.

It's like when I was a kid watching Morecambe and Wise, it's the same thing, you tune in every Saturday night to watch Strictly," reports the Manchester Evening News . Amanda has been vocal about her experience on Strictly, expressing gratitude for the connections she's made: "Most people on that show are wonderful and I've made some good friends on that show. I don't want it to end, I want it to have a wonderful extended life because it's real Saturday entertainment.

" When asked about the future of the show, Amanda admitted uncertainty: "I don't know what the answer is, I don't, because it's not up to me." The actress also revealed what she desires from the BBC, stating: "I'd like an apology yeah. I'd like an apology and I'd like this not to happen to people working in that corporation again.
