Scoring a dramatic winner in a derby is the ultimate statement, and for Amad , it could see him land a permanent spot in Manchester United's first team. That is, at least, according to Danny Murphy, who reckoned Ruben Amorim would find it impossible to leave Amad out of the side after his late heroics against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. "Amad Diallo was outstanding," Murphy said on Match of the Day 2.

"Talk about a player trying to impress a new manager and showing he was right to select him." Noting the message he's sent to Amorim, Murphy continued: "And what he's done now is he's said to the manager, 'You can't leave me out'. He turned that game on its head.

It took United nearly an hour to respond, but when they did, they did so twice in quick succession. Amad has sent Amorim a message acco.
