Wednesday, January 8, 2025 Alstom has teamed up with Southeastern and Eversholt Rail to launch a comprehensive upgrade of the Class 376 Electrostar trains. This initiative aims to boost passenger comfort, enhance operational performance, and revitalize a fleet that has played a pivotal role in Southeastern’s Metro operations since 2004. The upgrade involves Alstom overseeing the engineering work and supplying all materials required for the interior upgrades and the addition of power sockets at each seat.
