CUMBERLAND, Md. — The new Allegany College of Maryland Theatre Club invites the community to imagine themselves in a castle in the French countryside as it debuts its first theatrical production, Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.” Under the direction of Associate Professor of Music Melody Gaschler, the ACM Theatre Club will host performances of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” at 7 p.
m. on Friday, Nov. 15, and Saturday, Nov.
16, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov.
17. Performances take place in the Dr. Robert F.
Zimmer Theatre in ACM’s College Center. General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students. Admission is free for children ages 5 and younger.

edu . More than 30 students, faculty, staff and their family members are involved in the Theatre Club’s production. In addition to her role as director, Gaschler serves as the Theatre Club’s faculty advisor.
