The Indira Gandhi International Airport recently introduced a fast-track immigration program for certain passengers at Terminal 3. The Fast Track Immigration Trusted Travellers Program (FTI-TTP) is designed to reduce the wait period for frequent and trusted travellers during international trips. The program is expected to reduce the immigration process from 15-20 minutes to a few seconds.

The FTI-TTP will be launched in other cities too in the coming months. Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Cochin, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad will implement the programme on priority, according to the Civil Aviation Ministry. Key details about the Fast Track Immigration Trusted Travellers Programme (FTI-TTP) This program is only verified for Indian nationals and Overseas citizens of India (OCI) cardholders. The process at Delhi's T3 airport functions on biometric technology that assists immigration at both arrival and departure. The FTI-TTP eligible passengers can also opt out of the standard immigration lines and use the automatic e-gates.

18,400 passengers have already used the new fast-track program. Indian passport holders and OCI card holders can sign up to participate at https://ftittp.mha.

gov.in/fti/ All the applications are verified by the Bureau of Immigration and get added to the 'White list' of trusted travellers by the immigration authority. The selected applicants will have to meet for biometric collection at the nearest Foreigners Regional Registration Office or international airport.
