In Manchester, a 19th century church could soon be overshadowed by a 133-home apartment block. The 23-storey building would surround Particular Baptist Chapel - which has stood on Rochdale Road since the 1800's.
Over in Salford, a high profile fashion brand has set their eyes on a new HQ. They want to build offices, a showroom and warehouse on a former car dealership site on Bury New Road. READ MORE: 'They are operating in conditions which frankly have no place in modern society' The new 'New York inspired' apartment block would be built close to Stockport's Merseyway shopping centre and historic Underbanks area, if approval is granted.
