Alison Hammond couldn't resist sharing her excitement on Friday's This Morning as she opened up about her plans this weekend. The presenter, 49, asked co-host Dermot O'Leary about his weekend plans before divulging her own plans, letting slip that she would be seeing her boyfriend. Alison is thought to be dating masseur David Putman , 27, since the end of last year.
Alison revealed that her boyfriend had been away recently and she was so excited to reunite with her love after some time apart. It comes after it was recently reported that Alison and her toyboy boyfriend have started discussing getting married and the TV star is determined to "look her best" after losing 11 stone. It is claimed that the pair met after Alison booked masseur David for a £150 massage.
Their friendship then turned romantic at the end of 2023, despite a two-decade age gap between the pair. Speaking to OK! Magazine , a source said this is "the most content" Alison has been "for a long time" as her career and personal life are both going well. The source said: "Her career is going from strength to strength and she loves being on This Morning with Dermot and audiences love her and she is very in demand.
"She's also lost quite a bit of weight and while she's always been happy with her body no matter what size, she feels very healthy and has been working out a lot more and taking care of herself. She's glowing!" The insider said the pair have also talked about marriage as Alison "would love" to tie the knot one day - and added that she also has the approval of her 19-year-old son, Aidan. The TV host was previously married to Aidan's father, Noureddine Boufaied, but their union ended in divorce.
But talking about Alison's relationship with her younger beau, the source said: "They went through some tough times when they first started going out but David has made her believe in love again and has restored her faith in men. "Add in the fact that she is very happy in her new relationship and has got Aidan's approval and Alison couldn't be happier. They have talked about marriage and although it's quite soon, Alison would love to get married one day.
And she wants to look her best when she does even if it's not for a while.".
