Recently, Alia Bhatt made waves online by liking an Instagram post that came to her husband Ranbir Kapoor’s defense against harsh criticism. The post – shared by a Ranbir Kapoor fan account on 23 February 2025 – called out detractors who label Ranbir a “red flag,” “womanizer,” and “mumma’s boy.” Alia’s quiet endorsement of the message highlighted her support for Ranbir, subtly pushing back against the negativity that often swirls around him on social media.

The Instagram caption didn’t mince words, stating, “People are so jealous of Ranbir Kapoor that they will conveniently call him a red flag or womaniser or mumma’s boy.” It argued that Ranbir’s transparency about his past relationships – discussed openly in interviews before and after his marriage – shows he has nothing to hide. “He’s spoken about his past in multiple interviews before his marriage and after too because he has nothing to hide,” the post continued, adding, “Takes accountability of what he’s done wrong too.

” Addressing the “mumma’s boy” tag, it fired back, “Calling him a mumma’s boy because he loves his mom and promotes her on social media? Good lord people get a life.” The user concluded by celebrating Ranbir’s personal growth, noting, “He’s evolved as a person happily married to Alia with an adorable daughter Raha.” A post shared by ranbir kapoor fc (@cineranbir) Alia, who married Ranbir in April 2022 and welcomed their daughter Raha later .
