Alia Bhatt is embracing a whole new set of challenges as she navigates the dual roles of being a mother to her daughter Raha Kapoor and continuing her acting career. In a recent interview with Allure, the actress opened up about the delicate balancing act she's been trying to master since Raha’s birth. Alia affectionately described Raha as "naughty and chatty," noting her bright personality that shines through despite occasional moments of shyness.

Yet, the real challenge lies in juggling motherhood with her demanding acting career. “How do I ping-pong between the two and do them well, but also find a way to carve out time for myself, which I’m not able to do. I’ll be very candid right now—there’s no such thing as me time.

I’ve not even been able to get a therapy session for the last two months." A post shared by Alia Bhatt 💛 (@aliaabhatt) Motherhood, she said, has profoundly changed her, leaving her both fulfilled and full of nerves. “Your soul is sort of fulfilled, but you are also always full of fear and nerves because of just wanting to do it right and wanting to do it well," Alia shared, describing the emotional rollercoaster of wanting to be the best mother while managing her own needs.

Reflecting on her parents' advice about raising children, Alia emphasized the importance of not seeing them as possessions. “Children come through you. They’re yours, you are a catalyst, you are a source for their life, but their life is not yours.

Their life is theirs, and you just need to give them the tools to deal with their life,” she explained. On the work front, Alia is gearing up for the release of Jigra on October 11. She’s also set to star in Alpha, the seventh installment of YRF’s spy universe, alongside Sharvari, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor.

Despite the whirlwind of motherhood and film commitments, Alia is proving she can still do it all—even if "me time" is on hold for now..
