Comedian Kapil Sharma is returning with the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show and his first guests will be Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and Vedang Raina. The trio will make an appearance on the Netflix show to promote their film, Jigra. The episode’s trailer dropped recently and in one segment, Kapil asked Karan what he sees in Alia as they are frequent collaborators.
Kapil asked Karan, “What do you see in Alia Bhatt? A friend? An actor? Every morning they put a message, ‘Good morning ladies’ and then I have to remind them, I am there too.’” Kapil announced the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show last month and confirmed that Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Rajiv Thakur will return with their respective hilarious characters. Talking about the upcoming season, Kapil Sharma said, “As promised, we didn’t take too long and palak jhapakte hi hum doosre season ke saath laut aaye hai on Netflix (we are back with Season 2 in the blink of an eye).

Our audiences have always treated us as a part of their family and we are grateful.” The first season of The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show premiered in March this year and welcomed several guests including Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky and Sunny Kaushal and Imtiaz Ali among others.
