THEY'RE known for their incredible wine dupes. And it looks like Aldi has done it again - with a £6.99 bottle of Sparkling Italian Rosé.

Wine pro Lucy took to TikTok to rave about the new offering, as she asked: "Aldi, you okay, hun? "The absolute audacity that you have to be selling this Italian sparkling rose for 6.99 on offer. "But is it any good? I will be the judge of that.

" Partner In Wine founder Lucy said that while it's described as a Sparkling Rosé, it's definitely one for Prosecco lovers. "It says extra dry, and it does mean extra dry," she added. "So if you like sweet wines, this is not gonna be for you.

" While she initially thought there was little flavour in the wine, she then "took it back", as she said: "What I am getting here is those gorgeous flavors that you do expect from Prosecco, like apple, not too potent on the apple, but I'm getting a lot of pear, and there is some kind of like cranberry, raspberry sort of undertone to this. "Those bubbles are also just delightful. "As a sort of everyday, easy drinker, crowd pleaser, that's pretty good.

" Lucy concluded by saying: "Aldi, this is partner in wine approved. Cheers!" "You’ve got some nerve selling this Sparkling Italian Rosé for £6.99 @aldiuk," Lucy captioned the video.

"On the cheaper side of Prosecco, the bottle makes it look expensive, but is the packaging all smoke and mirrors?! "Or is it worth running to your local to stock up? "This is definitely a bargain for my Prosecco lovers." People we.
