Back in 2018, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar sponsored a mobile toilet near Juhu beach, contributing ₹10 lakh for its installation. This initiative, inspired by his social awareness film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, aimed to promote better sanitation facilities in public areas. However, six years later, the actor faced an unexpected complaint regarding its condition.

On Wednesday, outside a polling booth in Mumbai, a senior citizen approached Akshay and informed him that the toilet he had donated was now completely rusted. The old man added that he had been maintaining the toilet himself for the past four years and requested Akshay to sponsor another one. A video capturing this interaction has since gone viral.

In the clip, Akshay Kumar is seen patiently listening as the senior citizen states, "The toilet you installed is rusted. I have been maintaining it for four years." Surprised but receptive, Akshay responded, “Oh, you are? Okay, I will address this issue to the BMC.

” The elderly man suggested, “You just donate the toilet, and I will get it installed.” Akshay, with a smile, replied, “I have already sponsored it. I will now ask the BMC to fix and maintain it.
