Monday, January 20, 2025 Akasa Airlines launches Ahmedabad-Prayagraj flights, offering direct and connecting options to accommodate devotees traveling for Mahakumbh Mela 2025 at Triveni Sangam. Amid the growing demand from devotees heading to Triveni Sangam for the Mahakumbh Mela 2025, Akasa Airlines has joined SpiceJet and IndiGo in introducing flight services between Ahmedabad and Prayagraj. Starting January 28, Akasa Airlines will offer flights connecting Ahmedabad and Prayagraj via Delhi.

Additionally, the airline will operate direct flights on select dates to accommodate the surge in travelers. As per the airline’s schedule, the direct flight from Ahmedabad will depart at 10:50 AM, reaching Prayagraj at 12:30 PM, with a flight duration of 1 hour and 40 minutes. The return journey is set to depart Prayagraj at 1:10 PM, landing in Ahmedabad at 3:00 PM.



Currently, direct services are scheduled for January 28, 29, and February 11, 12, 25, and 26. For those opting for connecting flights, the journey from Ahmedabad will begin at 5:40 AM, including a layover in Delhi, and conclude in Prayagraj at 12:15 PM. The total travel time will be 6 hours and 35 minutes.

The return leg from Prayagraj will depart at 12:50 PM and, after the layover in Delhi, will arrive in Ahmedabad at 8:20 PM, spanning 7 hours and 30 minutes. With the festival drawing significant crowds, ticket prices for the direct route currently start at approximately Rs. 30,000.
