Monday, September 16, 2024 Ajman Tourism Development Department, led by Director-General Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, has launched a vibrant promotional tour across the CIS from September 14th to 21st. This initiative is strategically designed to enhance partnerships with tourism leaders in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan, aiming to draw a greater number of visitors to Ajman. The journey includes stops in the culturally rich cities of Almaty, Tashkent, and Baku, where Ajman’s latest attractions and forward-thinking projects are highlighted.

These efforts are part of a broader plan to establish Ajman as a premier global travel destination. Statistics from recent months indicate a surge in Ajman’s popularity among CIS countries, with a 12 percent increase in both visitor numbers and overnight stays. The emirate has also seen a 3 percent rise in hotel occupancy rates and a 5 percent increase in room revenue compared to the previous year, showcasing its growing appeal as a tourist hotspot.



This promotional tour is part of Ajman Tourism’s broader strategy to not only market the emirate but also to educate potential international visitors about the unique experiences Ajman offers. From its tranquil beaches to its rich cultural offerings, Ajman is presented as a distinctive and enticing destination.
