After the film's failure at the box-office, Sanjay Dutt dropped the idea of making a sequel. We are talking action black comedy film Rascals. Helmed by David Dhawan, the film featured Ajay Devgn Sanjay Dutt in lead roles along with stars like Arjun Rampal, Kangana Ranaut, Satish Kaushik, Anil Dhawan, and Mukhtar Khan. Despite including comedy and drama, it turned out to be a major disappointment at the box office.



Before the release, Rascals generated massive hype, but it bombed in theatres. According to Box Office India, Rascals was made under the budget of Rs 46 crore and did a business of Rs 33.34 crore across India and had a worldwide gross of Rs 51.

Arjun Rampal portrays the villain, Anthony Gonsalves.
