An airport baggage handler has warned passengers not to wrap their luggage in plastic - but caused some controversy in doing so. Adrian, who goes by @teh_deagz on TikTok, said baggage is more likely to get stuck on the luggage carousel through the airport , meaning it's likely to be treated roughly. In a recently resurfaced video with the screen caption "dear travellers", he first shows himself throwing what he calls "a box of perishables" wrapped in clear plastic down a ramp, followed by a hard-shell suitcase wrapped in bubble wrap and, finally, a massive plastic wrapped frozen fish.

"When you keep throwing it that way, people get more reason to wrap it," commented one user. The cases were brand new but the workers destroyed them, probably by throwing them around," said another. Others have explained the security reasons why they pack their suitcases with plastic wrap. Adrian also advises against suitcases with a ru.
