The award was determined through an extensive survey involving over 20,000 unique respondents who contributed more than 50,000 responses from across Peninsular and East Malaysia. These responses highlighted Malaysians’ favorite brands across 24 diverse product and service categories, with AirAsia emerging as a standout in its sector. Organized by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As), the Putra Brand Awards, also known as the People’s Choice Awards, celebrate local and international brands that resonate strongly with Malaysian consumers.
