Friday, October 4, 2024 AirAsia Brand Co. (Abc.), the brand management and intellectual property (IP) division of Capital A, has unveiled two significant partnerships with Moonbug Entertainment and MiraiLab, aiming to enhance its footprint in the character and entertainment IP sector.

These collaborations represent a pivotal moment in the evolution of AirAsia Buds, Abc.’s IP initiative, designed to broaden the AirAsia brand’s appeal and transform it into a globally cherished icon through lifestyle and entertainment content and experiences. AirAsia Buds showcases a delightful cast of animal characters, including Tappy the adventurous tapir, Bam the culinary-loving pygmy elephant, Ogu the stylish orangutan, and Biggie, the mischievous deal-seeker from outer space.



Together, these ASEAN-inspired figures embody curiosity, teamwork, and affection, captivating audiences with their global adventures. The partnership with Moonbug Entertainment, a leader in children’s media known for popular shows like Cocomelon, Blippi, and Little Baby Bum, will see AirAsia Buds introduced in a 12-episode animated series launching on YouTube in the first half of 2025. This series will bring to life the exciting escapades of AirAsia Buds, delivering entertaining and relatable narratives that encourage exploration, cooperation, and fun for young viewers and families.
