Since beginning operations under the name Air Serbia in 2013, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia recently celebrated carrying its 30-millionth passenger. The milestone was reached on flight JU532 from Belgrade to Athens, where Saša Krzman was surprised by an announcement over the loudspeaker, informing him that he was the landmark passenger.
This surprise was made even more memorable as he received a complimentary round-trip ticket to any destination within Air Serbia’s extensive network, presented by the airline’s CEO, Jiri Marek. On October 26, 2024, Air Serbia will mark 11 years since its rebranding. The airline currently operates with a workforce of over 1,500 employees and boasts a modern fleet of 27 aircraft.
