Lanzarote Airport stands as the third most frequented air hub in the Canary Islands, trailing only behind Gran Canaria and Tenerife South.
Situated proximal to Arrecife, the island’s capital, this airport was inaugurated in 1946. It initially focused on charter operations from Europe but has since evolved into one of Spain’s top ten busiest airports. By 2018, it had facilitated travel for over 7.
5 million passengers and handled upwards of 1,600 tons of cargo.
