Tuesday, August 27, 2024 Air France , as an official partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, will be transporting 600 students from Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Saint Martin, and Reunion Island to Paris, where they will have the opportunity to attend Paralympic events. This initiative offers these young people, aged 9 to 18, a unique chance to explore the diverse world of disabled sports and immerse themselves in the values of the Paralympic spirit. This ambitious operation is part of the ‘Ma classe aux Jeux’ program, launched by the French Ministry of Education.

It is built on the foundation of the ‘Tous aux Jeux’ ticketing scheme, initiated by the French government, which aims to allow 400,000 people from various backgrounds—including youth, sports communities, people with disabilities, and public servants—to experience the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In addition to providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience, this initiative underscores Air France’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and supporting the development of future generations. By facilitating access to such a monumental global event, Air France is helping to inspire these young individuals, fostering a deeper understanding of the values of perseverance, respect, and solidarity that are central to the Paralympic movement.

Air France CEO Anne Rigail said , ‘Following the success of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Paralympic Games promise to highlight Air France’s foremost values of inclusion, diversity and the desire to excel. This operation is a fantastic opportunity for these 600 young people to experience a historic event, and we are delighted to be able to make our contribution by flying them to Paris. As an official partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Air France is fully committed to the ‘Games Wide Open’ approach promoted by the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Organising Committee.
