Tuesday, November 12, 2024 Air Astana is set to broaden its reach with the introduction of a new direct flight route between Kazakhstan’s capital, Astana, and the scenic island of Phu Quoc in Vietnam. Scheduled to commence on December 3, 2024, this route will be operated by Air Astana’s Airbus A321LR, providing passengers a direct connection to one of Vietnam’s premier tropical destinations three times a week, specifically on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This new Astana-Phu Quoc route joins the recent Almaty-Phu Quoc service, which launched on October 28, 2024, expanding Air Astana’s Vietnam-bound operations to a total of eight flights per week.

This increase in frequency offers travelers from Kazakhstan flexibility and more convenient options for reaching Phu Quoc through either Astana or Almaty. The flight from Astana is scheduled to depart at 21:30 local time, touching down in Phu Quoc at 07:45 the following morning. The return journey departs Phu Quoc at 09:15 and arrives in Astana by 16:15 local time.



Ticket prices start at USD 774 for economy class and USD 1,979 for business class, allowing both budget-conscious travelers and those seeking added luxury to enjoy the journey.
