Prayagraj: The Railway Board has issued notification for the regular operation of the Agra Cantt-Varanasi Vande Bharat . The train will run regularly from Sept 23, except Fridays. Starting from Agra Cantt , the train will reach Varanasi in 7 hours.

The first Vande Bharat of North Central Railway (NCR) was virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sept 16. The NCR administration issued a notification for regular operation on Wednesday evening. The saffron-coloured Vande Bharat of eight coaches (train number 20176) will leave Agra Cantt at 6am and reach Tundla at 6.



48am. There will be a halt of two minutes here, after which it will reach Etawah at 7.40 am and will leave after a two-minute halt to reach Kanpur Central at 9.

15am. The train will have a halt of 5 minutes at Kanpur Central and will leave at 9.20 am.

It will reach Prayagraj Junction at 11.25am and after a halt of 5 minutes will reach Varanasi at 1.00pm.

On its return journey, train number 20175 will depart from Varanasi at 3.20pm and reach Prayagraj Junction at 4.50pm, Kanpur Central at 6.

57 pm, Etawah at 8.17 pm, Tundla at 9.32 pm, and Agra Cantt at 10.

20 pm. The platform for its stoppage at Prayagraj Junction is expected to be decided in a day or two. tn.
