Disney has been playing coy in regards to ratings for its Marvel Studios series “Agatha All Along,” that is until the other day when the studio volunteered some new viewership information. reports that, according to Disney, this past week’s seventh episode pulled in 4.2 million views globally after just one day of streaming.
They claim figure is up 35% from the premiere episode’s performance on its first day. No data was made available regarding the premiere’s one-day performance, but that newly disclosed figure works out to the first episode drawing in 3.1 million in its first 24 hours.
Disney did previously reveal that the first episode pulled in 9.3 million views in its first week, tripling that first day audience figure. Disney defines a view as total stream time divided by runtime.
That Disney feels confident enough to release viewership numbers at this point in the season suggests it has confidence in the series. That has been back up by Nielsen with the series hitting the streaming charts. “Agatha All Along” comes to an end next week with two episodes arriving on Wednesday night.
